FEBRUARY 20–28, 2026

Save the date: FEBRUARY 20-28, 2026. My recently completed graphic memoir A FRIEND GAVE ME A BOOK will have a solo exhibition at P·P·O·W gallery, running from February 20 – March 28, 2026. P·P·O·W was founded by Wendy Olsoff and Penny Pilkington in the first wave of the East Village art galleries in New York City in 1983. In 2021 the gallery moved to Tribeca. The gallery has remained true to its early vision, showing contemporary work in all media, with a commitment to the work of pioneering artists who create work exploring issues of gender, sexuality, race and social inequality. I’m thrilled to publicly exhibit this 8-year long opus.

There will be a 40-year anniversary screening of PSYKHO III THE MUSICAL (P3TM) at MOMA (The Museum of Modern Art). I’ll be joining the other original cast members for a post-screening panel discussion and Q&A.

SEPTEMBER 29 – OCTOBER 26, 2025

I’ve been invited to be an Artist-in-Residence at Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. In 1903 the patroness established the Museum’s first artist residency, inviting John Singer Sargent (American, 1856–1925) to stay and use Fenway Court’s
Gothic Room as his studio.  This month-long residency involves living and working in themuseum’s dedicated New Wing apartments designed by Renzo Piano. The point of this residency is to see what inspiration and work may emerge from living in what has long been one of my favorite museums.

A 5-week residency at Yaddo, Saratoga Springs, NY

JULY, 2025

I just ended my year-long residency at Painting Space 122. Having access to one of these studio spaces for an entire year allowed me to finally complete my graphic memoir A FRIEND GAVE ME A BOOK, and also to have studio visits which led to the P·P·O·W exhibition, and the Gardner Museum Residency. I also included work along with fellow residency artists in the PS122 Project Studio Artists Exhibition SYSTEMS OF BECOMING, in the PS122 Gallery.

It was a thrill to travel to the south of France outside Marseille to perform an outdoor site-specific performance of WEILL BOY / BRECHT GIRL / EISLER MANN at the launch of MEDITERRANEAN ARTISTS PROJECT INC. (MAP). This new organization was created to foster international collaboration and intellectual exchange among writers, artists, and creative thinkers. Based at La Verrière, an 18th-century farmhouse in the South of France, MAP provides a unique environment for creative exploration and expression. Over ten years (2025-2035), MAP will facilitate intergenerational mentorship, workshops, and seminars, culminating in the publication of participants’ work in various media. Their focus in on the Mediterranean as a unified region of cultural exchange transcends political, linguistic, and ideological barriers, promoting a respectful and inclusive dialogue.
